Created especially for the harpsichord (cembalo), Schertler’s Cembalox is an active build-in system that combines two RESOCOIL sensors and a high quality internal preamp. Simple to operate, it includes a single volume wheel that gives the player total control over volume levels. Other parameter controls are on the internal preamp that is attached using velcro.

During the build-in process, the gain of the RESOCOIL transducers can be fixed and the phase reversed if necessary. A resonance filter is included to reduce potential feedback issues. Connection is via jack output socket. A 9V battery is supplied.
